Riley had so much fun hanging his head out the window and watching the country side go by. He loved watching out for cows, bison, or elk. He never barked even once at any of them.
Once we made it to Glacier we drove the main road through the park and came across this Big Horn Sheep close to the road. We got out of the car and took some photos. There were about 25 people gathered to see him.
This is the only glacier that can be seen from the road. Jackson Glacier
Just a beautiful view. Mid way up the mountain you can see the road we drove.
We hiked up above Logan Pass 1.5 miles and came across these mountain goats. There was a mom and dad and 3 kids. Logan Pass sits right on the continental divide.
The very next day it snowed in the area we were at here.
It was pretty cold in glacier and though very beautiful, I was ready to go to Yellowstone and find some warmer weather.
When we drove too fast for Riley to hand his head out the window he spent some time on Darle's shoulder.
As soon as we got into Yellowstone we found Elk. This was on the Mammoth Hot Springs lawns. there were probably 75 elk in the area.
The hot spring behind us were slightly sulfur smelling, not as bad as some of the other springs. All of the flat areas are little pools.
We spotted Coyotes two times. This is one of them.
It was just a short hike to this point to see the beautiful Lower Falls. The picture does not do the actual sight justice.
On of the deep deep very hot -hot spring.
Classic Old Faithful.
This picture is for the Dudley side of the family. We found this huge exposed gear clock in the Old Faithful Lodge. The building is over a century old. Not sure the age of the clock.
In all we had a wonderful 10 day vacation. We saw a Big Horn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Bison, Elk, and Coyotes. We got to spend 10 days together, mostly cell phone and computer free. The Dogs has a wonderful time with us. Bella really grew a big belly in 10 days. By the end we were ready to go home. Even the dogs were ready to get back home and play in their back yard.

Great pictures Lindsay! I didn't try and guess the pups, but how exciting for you? I assume you're going to sell them for some $$??? I was so surprised to see in your yellowstone photos how curly your hair has gotten! Did you perm it or is that just natural? It's gorgeous! I'm glad you guys had such a fun vacation! Thanks for the postcard!
